A librarian whose career spanned over sixty years. Her experience included positions in academic, public, and – mostly – special libraries. As a library administrator, she directed the Bibliographic Center for Research, a computerizing library networking agency for a 10-state area and served as division director (Association for College and Research Libraries) and Associate Executive Director for Programs at the American Library Association.
An actress whose theatrical and interpretive roles began in childhood and continue into her ninth decade, with major appearances in Denver and Boulder , Colorado , between 1963 and 1980. Her one-woman show, One Old Broad Looks at Life and Death, has been performed successfully throughout the U. S. Her Holocaust reading, Gerda’s Story, has been seen locally, in New Jersey, Illinois, and Indiana.
A business woman, whose company, Vintage Ventures, provided library consulting, branch library management, and administrative projects from 1993 – 2011.
A choral singer who began singing with the Glee Club of the Northern Parkway School in Uniondale , L. I., N. Y. in 1939 and has been a member of the Hempstead High School Choir, the Glee Club of the New Jersey College for Women (Douglass College), the madrigal choir at the City College of New York, the Dessoff Choirs (N. Y. City), the Chorus Sine Nomine and St. Cecilia Singers, Boulder, CO, and the Boulder Chorale.
